Scottish craft gin distiller Biggar Gin wanted a brand that would punch above its weight – like it’s namesake, the small boutique market town of Biggar. A ‘Biggar mentality’ reflects a small-scale batch philosophy combined with a passion, ambition and taste which is big. It marries traditional distilling techniques with a culture of innovation and a strong sense of place. The smaller 50cl bottle and over-sized label reflect the ‘Small batch gin. The greyhound icon is a nod to the legendary Biggar Social Club which started life as a coursing club in the 19th century before focusing on collecting and sharing high quality wine and spirits. Within months of its launch, Biggar Gin won the prestigious Gin Guide Award for best London dry gin.
