I Bought You Something
‘I Bought You Something’ is a publication that questions society’s levels of consumption and what our current model of capitalism has produced. The publication is an A6-size gift box which contains simple one-word postcard-size messages.
The materials used have been chosen to be cheap, ubiquitous items purchased through large-scale online retailers – including the rubber stamp kit used for the typography. The stripped back design and lack of craft aims to reflect the mass-produced disposable consumption we encounter thoughout our daily lives.
