No. 104 is a display typeface based on the decorative type set in concrete relief for the Sydney Municipal Council’s electrical substations built in the early 20th Century.

The typeface is clearly inspired by the art nouveau stylings of the Glasgow School, and it marks an interesting period in the design history of Australia. Substation No. 104 is in Wooloomooloo, an inner city harbour suburb of Sydney.
